Fostering quality
We live quality: this is what we demand of ourselves, of our work and of the environment we offer your children. A variety of instruments are available for this purpose, which require and promote sensitivity to quality, develop team culture and shape daily work.
Fostering quality
From the outset, we at Children’s World have always made it a key feature of our business to foster a culture of quality in our business operations and care services. We expect all our staff to continually analyse their own work and see where they can improve.

Quality standards in childcare
Children’s World has developed a quality handbook based on the QualiKita standards. The purpose of the Children’s World quality handbook is to enhance and ensure quality so that the core mission of Children’s World – the care and nurturing of children – can be performed in the best way possible.
Our care workers regularly receive training and attend courses.

Qualified personnel
Each and every day, our specialist staff apply their experience and knowledge to provide loving care and a nurturing environment for the children so that they can develop their individual personalities. They hold recognised Swiss qualifications in childcare or as kindergarten or Montessori teachers. Regular training opportunities in various areas foster a culture of continuous development and ensure that our staff are always up to date with current standards.
Collaboration with external partners
In order to create the best possible structure in which to provide care and support for the children entrusted to us, we consult specialists for their expertise.
We have developed our educational concept in collaboration with an expert from the University of Teacher Education Zug. Our menus are regularly reviewed by a dietician.

Expert testimonials
‘The Children’s World nursery offers children a tasty, varied and balanced menu. Meals are freshly prepared by a chef, who places great importance on preparing healthy dishes in a way that preserves the nutrients in the food. They use seasonal produce that, whenever possible, is sourced locally.
Older children are sometimes encouraged to help prepare the meals. It fosters an interest in, and enjoyment of, food.

‘I have an extensive background in teaching and have been able to advise and support Children’s World throughout the process of revising and updating their educational concept. Children’s World uses a tried-and-tested educational concept that promotes bilingualism and the holistic development of children.
I also use my considerable experience as a coach and consultant to support Children’s World in various processes: supervision of various groups; feedback on teaching; coaching managers; conflict resolution.’
Internal quality assurance
People who don’t have to worry about the general conditions of their environment can concentrate fully on their work. Our internal structures set unified standards for all our sites and also make day-to-day work easier for our employees.
We work in accordance with tried-and-tested concepts, some of which have been developed in consultation with external partners. They include safety, emergency and hygiene procedures and our approach to nutrition.
We regularly and conscientiously review our compliance with regulations, such as violence and sexual harassment policies.
It is particularly important to us that these policies don’t just exist, but that we also live by them. Workshops, regular discussions with our staff and an open business culture also contribute to this.
Quality starts with recruitment. A proven recruitment process, incorporating assessments, ensures that new employees believe in our approach and are a good fit with us from day one.
